This paper recuperates "the method of finding segitta by setting Tian Yuan Yi" of "the Draft of the Shoushi Calendar"(1281) according to a record in the Chishui Yizhen (Pearls recovered from the Red River) (1761) by Mei Juecheng. The paper shows the differences and similarities of this method from those of the Song and Yuan mathematicians, and points out that the method of finding sagitta by dividing circumference was directly derived from the Hui Yuan method by Shen Kuo.

本文根据《梅氏丛书辑要》《赤水遗珍》(1761)中梅钰成关于“授时历立天元一求矢术”的记录,恢复了《授时历草》(1281)这一段珍贵史料,分析了它与李治、朱世杰所用天元术的异同之处,并且指出《授时历》作者是直接套用沈括会圆术,利用全弧背来推导出割圆求关术的。

It proves for the first time that the P.2141 in "Dun Huang Bao Zang"(《敦煌宝藏》)is a part of The Commentary on Bodhisattva-bh■mi- s■tra (《地持论义记》) ,which is a book written by Ching-ying Hui-Yuan....

净影寺慧远被中国古代佛教界尊为“隋代三大师”之一,著作宏富,影响深广。本文在国内外相关研究成果的基础上全面考察了慧远的著作,首次考定《敦煌宝藏》所载P.2141号写本残卷乃是其传本《地持论义记》的一部分;更为细密地论证了其《大乘起信论义疏》的真实性;具体地推定了慧远首次著述的时间和《大般涅■经义记》的成书情况;同时亦简要论述了慧远对智■、吉藏、元晓、智俨、法藏等重要佛学家的影响。对于慧远的研究,这都是切实的推进。
