The discovery, characterization, and monitoring of resources, services, and computations can be challenging due to the considerable diversity, large numbers, dynamic behavior, and geographical distribution of the entities in grid computing systems. Hence, resource information services are a vital part of any grid software. A grid resource information model is designed in object-oriented way, and directory service is used to implement resource information service of grid system software...

The fundamental structure and function of national high performance computing environment is introduced in this paper. Then, the design and implementation of GridWare based on LDAP is discussed in detail.
