The results were briefly as follows:1.Slica supply generally changed the plant anatomical structure.The epidermis,epidermis hair,bulliform cells,vascular bunder,sclerenchyma of leaf blades and epidermis of pericladium all have accumulations of large amount of silica.The rice plant in culture solution with Si could resist the attack of insect pests.The root and culm base of plants in culture solution without Si were rather severely attacked by aphids and showed some necrosis-tissues at heading stage,while the root and culm base of plant in culture solution with Si grew quite healthy,their roots maintained the typical white color.2.The root volume and the activity of a-NA oxidation by root were increased with plant cultured in Si added solution.The water and nutrient absorption also increased.3.Silica supply not only increased the area of leaf blades,but also affected the stiffness of the leaves,so that they were more erect.4.At heading stage the leaf of plants grown in Si added solution still maintained high photosynthetic activity and comparatively more photosyn-thates might be supplied to the grains,so that the weight of 1000 grains and the yield were increased.The relative yield of single rice plant of treatment with and without Si was 276.3:100.The above mentioned facts show that silica is an essential element for normal growth of the rice plants.

The white color emitted phosphor, LaOBr:Tb~(3+), was prepared and investigated. The synthesis of LaOBr: Tb~(3+) by the improved ammonium bromide method is described in this paper. The luminescent properties and its utilization in the projection tube are also summarized. Measuring results show that the white light emission intensity of LaOBr:Tb~(3+) increases linearly with accelerating voltage and current density under the electron beam excitation. The cathodoluminescence shows that LaOBr: Tb~(3+) emits a narrow spectrum in white color, which correspond to the ~5D_3—~7F_(j(0,1,2…6)) and ~5D_4—~7F_(j(0,1,2…6)) electron transfer of Tb~(3+) The LaOBr: Tb~(3+) projection tube can provide an emission intensity as great as 1.2~1.5 times that of (YGd)_2O_2S: Tb~(3+) at 27~30kV and 150~300μA, and the performance of the former is almost independent of temperature, and the brightness degradation is much smaller than that of (YGd)_2O_2S: Tb~(3+). Furthermore, the LaOBr: Tb~(3+) projection tube has considerably greater color stabilty over a wide range of operating current and temperature. The stability of color decreases in the following order: LaOBr: Tb~(3+), Y_2O_2S: Tb~(3+), (YGd)_2O_2S:Tb~(3+). Although the crystal of LaOBr: Tb~(3+) is scaly in shape, yet this resolution for the screen can meet the requirement of TV application, and the pattern signal up to 6 MC can be clearly surveyed. The large area contrast of C7M32 projector made of LaOBr: Tb~(3+), namely, 23:1, in the same as that of P45. It can be concluded that the LaOBr: Tb~(3+) white phosphor is full of promise.

标准化是国家重要的技术经济之一。在家畜品种资源上要解决标准化,必须先从同种异名上着手。湖北通城猪与监利猪产区毗邻,外形特征与生产性能上极相似,都是体大中等的脂肉兼用型,毛色白而两头乌。考其来源似由赣西猪而来,它们在通城与监利长期由当地农民培养而成,至今外形与生产性能基本上仍与赣西猪一致。通过对成年通城猪与监利猪头骨测定,两猪颅骨大小长短,后颅骨宽与高,侧面的弯曲,鼻骨宽度,近似方形的泪骨,口腔长度等均极一致,因比,我们认为在品种资源上,该两猪应正式定为“两头乌”猪较为恰当,并列于同一标准化。
