To meet the requirement of the design of greenhouse control system, such as performance、price、credibility、easy to design, the author takes the advantage of ARM’s and CAN’s together and designs a new greenhouse control system. After analysing the environmental factors needed for crop growing, the optimal environmental condition necessary for seedling fostering in the greenhouse is determined and a climatic monitoring and controlling system of greenhouse temperature, which takes a monolithic computer 89C52 and a 32 bit microcomputer as its kernel, is developed. By using this system, seedling growth effect is greatly improved and a good economic and social benefit is obtained.
