Getting Order: It Presents differential activity in the space distribution and increased activity in the time process. This is a process with reducing dimension and decreasing entropy. And it presents that the system is getting order. D. Suffering Catastrophe: Earthquake is often triggered by outside effect, such as sun, moon, earth tide; atmosphere pressure, anomaly weather etc.; meanwhile it often companied by rapid change of some geophysics field, such as earth deformation, ground water, gravity, geomagnetism. That means the immediately before earthquake is an unstable catastrophe process. Lacking earthquake means that one region has probability of occurring earthquake with certain magnitude. The ratio β of variation of the geoidal height to the normal height is emphatically studied, and its theoretical and numerical formulas in spherical polar coordinates 8re derived. Computed results show the coefficients of spherical series of β produced by potential source are much smaller than one produced by curl source, and thus it is very useful that the geodynamic reasons of recent crust movements and gravity...

本文研究了地球在内部位势场源和管量场源作用下引起的球形地球变形。着重研究了大地水准面高的变化与正高变化的比直,导出了它在球坐标系中的理论和数廬计算公式。数值结果表明:地球在位势力源和管量力源作用下所引起的大地水准面高的变化与正高变化,其比值的球函数系数低阶项相差近一个量级。因此,用大地水准面高的变化与正高变化的比值这一指标来研究现代地壳运动及重力场随时间变化等地球动力学问题将是十分有用的。

The Global Positioning System (GPS) is used to monitor crustal movement which is the new method for earthquake prediction. The North China is an important earthquake monitoring region. The 4-D earth deformation monitoring network was sep up in North China by using GPS technology. Due to adopting a series of advanced methods,the first observation has obtained high precise results,and laid a foundation for the large earthquake prediction and geodynamic research in the future.

全球定位系统GPS是利用监测地壳运动进行地震预测的新手段。华北是一个重要的地震监视区。应用GPS技术在华北布设了一个四维地形变监测网。由于采取了一系列先进的方法和措施,首次观测获得了高精度的成果,为今后大震预测和地球动力学的研究奠定了基础。
