The authors have developed a technique for Au-Cu-Ni-MoS2 stituet composite coating on aluminium substrate by electric deposition. The coating possesses high wear and cold-welding resistance and good electric conductivity both in atmosphere and in ultrahigh vacuum.The coating has been successfully used in sliding parts in short wave antenna of several man-made earth satellites.This paper is focused on the effect of the factors, such as coating processing parameters, composition of the plating solution and pretreatment of MoS2, on wear resistance of the coating.

The protection from air-erosion and wear is an important research subject on high current velocity machinery such as hydraulic turbine. Now, a composite coating (XCA coating) of elastic polyurethane has been developed for its excellent resistance to wear and water and good adhesion to metal. It has been reported that the tensile strength of the coating, is 300-400 Kg/cm2 and the coefficient of air-erosion resistance is 7.3 times as high as the stainless steel of 1 Cr18Ni9 Ti or 43 trnies as...

The protection from air-erosion and wear is an important research subject on high current velocity machinery such as hydraulic turbine. Now, a composite coating (XCA coating) of elastic polyurethane has been developed for its excellent resistance to wear and water and good adhesion to metal. It has been reported that the tensile strength of the coating, is 300-400 Kg/cm2 and the coefficient of air-erosion resistance is 7.3 times as high as the stainless steel of 1 Cr18Ni9 Ti or 43 trnies as high as A3 steel. The practical tests have shown that the substrate protected by the coating and used in hydraulic turbine lasts over 10000 hours without wear damage in hydropower station and up to 7000 hours without air-erosion damage in high water head hydropower station.lt has been estimated thaf a considerable beneficial result will be obtained from convenient processing, inexpensive cost, and short overhaul period of the coating.

Since the surface charge density of SiC and WC particles in the gold citrate electrolyte is very low, the electric field between the electrode and electrolyte has a little effect on the codeposition of solid particles with metal during the formation of Au-SiC and Au-WC composite coatings. Experiments have showed that the two-step adsorption model advanced by Guglielmi is applicable to the two systems mentioned above. The decisive role of the charging state of particles in codeposition can be seen in the analysis of B which is a parameter of the effect of electric field on the strong adsorption of particles. The two opposite standpoints—electrochemical and mechanical mechanism can be combined by the change of sign and magnitude of the parameter B.

柠檬酸镀金溶液中SiC与WC微粒的表面电荷密度很小,在Au-SiC与Au-WC复合镀层形成过程中,电极与溶液界面间电场的作用,对于固体微粒与金属的共沉积影响不大。实验证明Guglielmi的两步吸附模型适用于上述两种体系。本文进一步明确Guglielmi公式中各参量的物理意义。通过电扬对微粒强吸附影响的参量B的分析讨论,可以看出微粒荷电状态的决定性作用。由参量B符号和大小的变化,可将电化学机理和力学机理两种对立观点统一起来。
