The astronomical palaeoecology is the product of distant hybridization between the astronomy and the palaeoecology.Applying the theory,method and observa- tional data of the astronomy,it undertakes the study on palaeoecology,essen- tially approaching the mutual relationships between the astronomical environme- ntal factors and ancient organisms and especially paying attention to exploration on palaeoecological effects of astronomical factors,for examples,(1)the relationships between the rhythmicity of growth...

The astronomical palaeoecology is the product of distant hybridization between the astronomy and the palaeoecology.Applying the theory,method and observa- tional data of the astronomy,it undertakes the study on palaeoecology,essen- tially approaching the mutual relationships between the astronomical environme- ntal factors and ancient organisms and especially paying attention to exploration on palaeoecological effects of astronomical factors,for examples,(1)the relationships between the rhythmicity of growth of fossil organisms and the rotation of the earth (palaeontological clocks);(2)the relationship between the eruption of the supernova and the annual ring of ancient trees;(3)the influence of change of cosmic environment to the cvolution of fossil organisms; (4)the astronomical cause of the extinction of the ancient organisms etc. Thanks to the abvance of concepts“spacesphere”and“cosmosphere”,Panosvstem of the earth environment,consisting of si'x spheres,that is,cosmosphere, spacespherc,atmosphere,biosphere,hydrosphere and lithosphere,was established. Thus,the stage of combining the reserch on the earth with cosmic space is beginning,and the another revolution in geoscicnce(including palaeoecology) will be aroused.

Based on observations of bark samples collected from trees belonging to 96 species of 38 families, of different ages, and growing in different places and seasons, the following conclusions were drawn, (1) Annual rings could be found in the bark of most trees. (2) Since the quality of crude drugs from bark origins sometimes needs to be evaluated in terms of the tree ages,bark rings might be used as a reference. The present study also provides a new means for age determination of ancient trees

在对38科54属96种药用及常见经济树种进行实验研究的基础上,以树皮横切面所见纤维束环带为指标,阐述了树皮年轮的客观存在.并对依据树皮年轮鉴定树龄在林学和生药学等方面的实际应用进行了探讨.

The ancient trees in Tibet are mainly distributed in the areas of Lhassa, Shangnan, Linzhi and Rigauze. They are classified into 47 species (varieties) in 16 families, many of which are endemic and rare species. The research shows that these ancient trees in Tibet are usually much higher and larger than those in any other provinces. They are generally recognized to connect with the Buddhist culture.

西藏古树主要分布在拉萨、山南、林芝、日喀则等地。分属于16个科47个种(变种),其中多特有种及稀有种。研究表明,西藏古树多高大粗壮,与佛教文化联系较多。本文通过调查还讨论了在西藏古树研究中牵连到的有关问题,例如,森林覆盖率下降,人工选林已有1380~1500年历史;西藏是核桃、石榴原产地之一;不存在“左旋柳”这一变种等问题。
