In this paper, kinetics and controlling factors of formation of HCl during the chlorination of coal with chlorine gas in aqueous medium are discussed.

Treatment of the waste water from zinc-plating plant and various zinc chloride waste water containing Zn~(2+) and Cd~(2+) by granular decontaminant made from weathered coal is performed both in the laboratory and pilot plant. The average data show that adsorption capacities of granular decontaminant for Zn~(2+) are 43mg/g and 68mg/g in laboratory and pilot plant respectively. The desorption efficiency is about 97%. The effluent water meets the requirement of the discharge standard and the metal can be recovered....

Colloidal flocculation is an important chemical phenomena in an estuarine. Colloidal flocculation is an important chemical phenomena in an estuarine. In order to reveal its controlling factors and influence on the transportation of chemical matters, ratural fresh water from the Zhujiang River is filtered, and a series of test samples is prepared through different pH-ajustments with acid and the lespectively additions of various major electrolytes of seawater (NaCl, MgCl2 and CaCl2). Afterwards contents of the humic acid and trace metals (Fe,Cu,Zn,Al,Mn,Cd and Si)associated with flocculent matter are determined.The experimental result has shown that:1) Different electrolytes have different influences on fiocculation of humic acid and tiace metals, and that influent effectiveness is CaCl2>MgCl2>NaCl.2) Different concentrations of electrolytes have different influences too and the general trend at our experimental concentrations was the higher concentration, the larger the amount of flocculated metals.3) In the same sample the percentage of each individual flocculent metal is not the same. Fe is flocculated in large amounts while Si and Cd only very little. The magnitude of percentages is Fe>Cu,Zn>Mn,Al>Si,Cd.4) In our experimental conditions, the effect of acidity to flocculation is not important.

为了解絮凝控制因素及其对化学物质迁移之影响,用过滤过的天然珠江河水,通过加酸调节不同pH,以及通过分别加入各种海水主要电解质絮凝并测定絮凝物上腐殖酸和微量金属的含量。实验结果表明:(1)不同电解质对腐殖酸和微量金属絮凝的影响不同,各种电解质的絮凝效力大小是CaCl_2>MgCl_2>NaCl;(2)电解质浓度不同絮凝的效果也不同。在本实验浓度范围内,总趋势是浓度越高,腐殖酸和微量金属絮凝量也越大,(3)同一样品中,各种微量金属絮凝的百分比也各不一样。Fe大量絮凝,Si,Cd絮凝很少量,絮凝大小是Fe>Cu,Zn>Mn,Al>Si,Cd;(4)在我们的实验条件下,酸度对絮凝的影响不重要。
