TMS320VC5410 digital signal processor provides multiple high-speed, full-duplex, multi-channel buffered serial ports (McBSP), it can directly communicate with C5410 devices, coders and other serial interface in a system.
The TLC320AD50C device can be initialized through calculating the sampling rate and programming to set the serial ports operate mode,then the connection between two chips are built. So the high speed,flexible and reliable data transfer can be realized.
In order to solve the capacity for TMS320C6000's UART communication,a new scheme was presented for expanding UART interface by using multi channel buffered serial ports and dedicated chip of asynchronous communications transceiver .

It can expand one USB port on PC into eight general serial ports,and in the device driver the 8 serial ports were used as virtual serial ports,then the host can use these serial ports through the USB port as the common ones locally.
