In this paper,the motion trace of the powder leveling roll in solid powder fast molding selective laser sintering equipment and the flow of sinter powder under the action of the roll are analyzed,the position of the shearing surface during powder flowing is deduced theoretically, and the advantageous effects of reverse rotation of the leveling roll on the improvement of powder density are expounded,this providing the theoretical basis for the production of high - quality sintered products.

研究固体粉末激光选择性烧结快速成型的铺粉装置中辊筒的运动轨迹,及烧结粉末在辊筒的推动作用下的流动过程,从理论上推导出粉末流动的剪切面的位置。阐述铺粉过程中辊筒逆向滚动对提高粉末层密度的有利效应,为能够烧结出高质量制品提供了理论依据。

This paper investigates the processes of rapld casting by selective laser sintering. The results show that the complicated casting parts can be obtained by combination of theinvestment casting and the SLS process withoutany tooling. Rapid casting also makes designchange easy and reduces the manufacturing timeand cost. Some practical examples are given toshow the advantages of rapid casting comparedwith the traditional one.

Based on PC platform, the computer-controlled systern for rapid prototyping selective laser sintering is introduced inn this paper. The hardware and software structure, man-machine interface are related in particular. Then some technical details and characteristics in hardware structure and applied software are discussed.
