Catalysts used for abating the pollution of automobile exhaust emissions were prepared by nonprecious metal oxides, such as the oxides of Ⅰ B, Ⅴ B, Ⅵ B, Ⅶ B, Ⅷ B group, alkaline earth group and rare earth elements. They were supported on the monolithic carrier mainly composed of Al_2O_3. The samples of catalyst were tested by the simulated auto exhaust emissions in the laboratory to determine their catalytic oxidation and reduction efficiency. Samples characterized by low ignition temperature (165℃ for propylene, lower than 150℃ for carbon monoxide), good mechanic strength and resistant to thermal shock (900—1000℃) had been obtained. The catalytic performance of sample 6213 A was examined in the vehicle test (680 Q type gasoline engine, 90 Hp) under the working condition of idling, 20, 40, 60, 80, KM/hr, it was found that the total conversion efficiency of CO and HC was 92% and 60% respectively. In the case of idle running (serious pollution by CO, HC), the conversion of CO and HC attained 97% and 75% respectively, NO_x conversion exceeded 70%. The influence of the catalytic device upon the motive force and the economic of the gasoline engine was equilvalent to the second exhaust muffler of the automobile without appreciable increase of oil consumption,

A computer programm for simulating the fuel economy and power performance of the motor vechicles and the approach to improving its accuracy are described in this paper. Based on the computation and optimization by this programm accompanied with the vehicle tests on the road, the pewertrain system for the CA141 truck has been rematched rationally. As a result,the power performance and fuel economy of this truck have been improved b 3.9% and 5.4% respectively.

This paper describes the testing method to evaluate the capability of scoring resistance of automotive gear oils by HQ-1 test engine. The influence of various testing conditions such as rotational velocity, temperature, the way of adjusting speed, etc. on scoring has been investigated. The results correlate well with those obtained by CRC-L-42 test engine and are close to the lubricating condition of vehicle test. In addition, the OK value raises correspondingly with the increase of viscosity of gear oil, so this method has the capability of distinguishing automotive gear oils with various viscosity grades after proper blending and can be used as a new laboratory method for the evaluation of scoring resistance of gear oil.

本文介绍了利用HQ-1型摩擦磨损试验机评定车辆齿轮油抗擦伤能力的试验方法.考察了不同试验条件如转速、温度、调速方式等对所得结果的影响.试验结果与美国CRC-L-42台架试验结果有较好的相关性,并与车辆试验的润滑条件相近.此外,随着油品粘度的增加,OK值也相应增大,对不同粘度级别的齿轮油具有区分能力.因此,这是一种在实验室内评选车辆齿轮油的擦伤能力的新方法.
