The frictional coefficient was insensitive to the variation of contact pressure. The possible mechanisms involved were analyzed on the basis of the wear debris morphology as well as the wear performance. Besides microcutting and fatigue delamination processes, plastic flow caused by the combined actions of local normal and tangential loading as well as the frictional heat, is another important effect that should be responsible for the wear behaviour of PEEK. Thermal analysis further indicated that the friction interfacial temperature might have ranged from 300 ℃ to 345 ℃, hence favouring plastic flow mechanisms to occur and resulting in lubricating effects.

选用聚醚醚酮(PEEK)为对象,研究其无润滑条件下的滑动摩擦磨损行为,根据实验测得的有关特性,磨屑形态及试样摩擦面特征,提出了塑性流动磨损机理,解释了实验现象。
