The effect of earth's surface on the kernel functions for microwave remote sensing of the atmospheric temperature profiles is investigated. By means of the optimization technique a set of optimal kernels almost independent of the earth's property is obtained. Using the statistically optimal inversion method 50 sets of simulation microwave radiation data are retrieved. The influence of observational error on the inversion accuracy is discussed.

The lower jet is rapidly breakdown when Ri≤ 0.25 reach to it's critical condition of the shearing instability.
