78 ASA physical status ⅠorⅡ patients undergoing cholecystectomy were randomly assigned to either P group, receiving PCEA with small dose of morphine and bupivacaine, or the control group (C group)to observe the effects of PCEA on the gastroinestinal function.
Methods:Forty adult patients (ASAⅠ~Ⅱ) undergoing elective cholecystectomy were randomly divided into group A(propofol,n=20) and group B (etomidate,n=20).
Methods Forty ASA Ⅰ - Ⅲ patients aged 32-65yr undergoing elective cholecystectomy or gastrectomy under combined general-epidural anesthesia (CGEA) were randomized to receive rocuronium 0.6 mg·kg-1 (group A, n = 20) or 0.9 mg·kg-1 (group B, n = 20) to facilitate tracheal intubation.

The result showed PCEA with small dose of morphine and bupivacaine didn't depress the serium level of motilin and gastrointestinal function after cholecystectomy, and beneficial to the recovery of gastrointestinal function for the elder patients.
Methods 158 patients subject to selective cholecystectomy were randomly divided into three groups, with group A given omepraaole 40mg orally on the previous night and the morning of the day of operation, group B added cisapride 10mg, group C as a control group with neither of the above mentioned drugs.
Intraoperative ERCP and endoscopic sphincterotomy combined with laparoscopic cholecystectomy for treatment of cholelithiasis wit
Objective: To evaluate the benefit of intraoperative ERCP and endoscopic sphincterotomy (EST) combined with laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) in the treatment of cholelithiasis with choledocholithiasis.
In group B, one case of bile leakage and one case of duodenal ulcer occurred after conversion to open cholecystectomy with CBD exploration.
Bile acid pool size in hamsters during gallstone formation and after cholecystectomy
After cholecystectomy there was a significant decrease of the bile acid pool size both in hamsters fed a lithogenic diet and in chow-fed controls.
