The structure and related properties of crystals thus obtained are identified and tested. Microseopie examination of impurities, defects, growth centers and steps on crystal surfaces indicates that this cubic BN possesses the common features of crystals grown under ordinary conditions. The results of the synthesis which depends closely upon the P-T condition, catalyst composition and catalyst assembly are analysed and discussed. The remarkable effect of the presence of a small amount of LiH in the catalyst on the grain growth is particularly described. Cubic BN crystals larger than 1mm. have been obtained.

In this puper, we report the synthesis of a new metastable phase La4Au by means of high pressure high temperature treatment of an amorphous alloy. In comparison with synthesis in air, the hydrothermal synthesis of La-CrO3 and LaCrO3 based materials has several advantages, such as the temperature of synthesis is 200-300℃ lower, the reaction process is simple, and the synthesized products are well crystallized with homogeneous grain size of 0.5-1μm. In comparison with synthesis in air, the hydrothermal synthesis of La-CrO3 and LaCrO3 based materials has several advantages, such as the temperature of synthesis is 200-300℃ lower, the reaction process is simple, and the synthesized products are well crystallized with homogeneous grain size of 0.5-1μm. All the products prepared by both methods have the perovskite-type structure with monoclinic distortion (β=90.35-90.38°).It was found that the electrical conductivity of LaCrO3 is enhanced by doping with both Ca2+ and Mg2+, but the former is more significant. The(La1-xCax) CrO3 produced in oxidizing atmosphere appears as extrinsic conduction characteristics, whereas samples prepared in reducing atmosphere have intrinsic conduction characteristics. The intrinsic charge carriers result from the activation process of 2Cr3+ Cr4+ + Cr2+, and its activation energy is about 0.71eV. The(La1-xCax)CrO3 materials are an-tiferromagnets(Neel temperature about 288K) accompanying parasitic ferromagnetism.

水热法合成铬酸镧及铬酸镧基材料的温度较低(比空气中合成低200~300℃)、反应简单、产物均匀,粒度均一(0.5~1μm)。合成产物均具有单斜畸变(β=90.35~90.38°)的钙钛矿型结构。在LaCrO_3中掺杂Ca~(2+)置换部分La~(3f),对提高电导率的效果较掺杂Mg~(2+)者为优。氧化气氛下制得的(La_(1-x)Ca_x)CrO_3表现为非本征电导特征;还原气氛下制得者为本征电导。本征电荷载流子是由激活过程产生,其激活能约为O.7leV。(La_(1-x)Ca_x)CrO_3为反铁磁体(Néel温度约288K),兼具有寄生铁磁性。
