Based on the comprehensive noise reduction practice in the coal flotation plant, some measures have been taken to improve the sliding chute and the coal feeder, which decrease the noise by 10dB(A)～20 dB(A).

AbstractBoth intensity squeezing and dramatic phase noise reduction have been obtained with a confocal cavity used to feedback the beam from the quantum well diode laser. We have measured an intensity squeezing of 193%(378% inferred at the laser output) around 35MHz and achieved phase noise reduction of 40—25dB from 9kHz to 100MHz.
