The first phase of the projects of Jinchuan Nonferrous Metals Company (JINCO) was put into operation in 1966. But the production of nickel was still below the designed capability and the comprehensive recovery of 14 accompanying elements was low until 1977 because of a bounch of technical problems.In 1978, JINCO was stipulated as one of the three state bases for comprehensive utilization of mineral resourses. It. was emphasized that science and technology must be the backing in productive construction and comprehensive utitization of resourses in Jinchuan. Under the proposal and organization of Fang Yi, ex-director of National Scientific and Technological Committee, more than 40 units in research, designing, education and construction across the country co-operated to search for the solution.A total of 345 key tasks were done from 1978 to 1987. Up to now, 192 subjects have been finished at a experimental level, Among them, 62 achievements were successively applied in production and construction and push greatly forward the production and comprehensive utilization of resourses in Jinchuan. The important key achievements were, for example, the support method divided into two stages used in underground mines which were suffered from high pressure; the new technology of hydraulic delivery, by gravity of high density tailings cementing fill; new good performance raise boring machine, the new technology of flotation of high-grade ores in neutral medium; nickel eletrorefining at high pH and high current density; extracting precious metals from the second copper-nickel alloy, and so on. Those achievements have provided a reliable guarantee to realize a normal mining in the large and high grade mines, to raise the recovery of beneficiation and extractive metallurgy, and to improve the comprehensive utilization. Therefore in 1983, the production of nickel reached for the first time the designed capability in JINCO. And the production in 1984 was 50% higher than 1983's, then in 1985 33% higher than 1984's. The production of nickel was twice the original designed capability. The recoveries of Pt and Pd were raised from 49% to 68%, and at the meantime, the recoveries of Os, Ir, Ru, Rh reached 48%It can be seen from the rapid development during the past ten years in JINCO that science and technology is the most active and important factor in productivity. Enterprises can not be developed steadily unless they rely firmly on science and technology.

1978年国家将金川有色金属公司列为全国矿产资源综合利用的三大基地之一,强调金川的生产建设和资源综合利用必须依靠科学技术。在原国家科委主任方毅的倡导和组织下,集中了全国有关的40多个科研、设计、大专院校和施工单位合作,进行联合攻关。1978—1987年,共开展了345个攻关课题。目前已完成试验的有192个课题,其中有62项成果从1979年起陆续用于生产和建设,对金川有色金属公司的生产发展和资源综合利用产生了巨大的推动作用;为埋藏量大的富矿开采,为提高选冶回收率和资源的综合利用水平,提供了可靠的保证,1983年金川有色金属公司的镍产量第一次达到了设计能力。1984年的电镍产量比1983年增长50%,1985年又增长了33%,产量超过设计能力1倍;Pt、Pd的回收率从49%提高到68%,Os、Ir、Ru、Rh的回收率提高到48%。

The flow rate and density of tailing, liquid level in the agitation vat, and feed of cement were individually controlled using closed-loop system and constant value regulation system. The control system offers the advantages of simplicity, reliability, high control accuracy and automatization.

本文阐述了湘西金矿沃溪胶结充填自动检测与控制系统的组成及其技术要点。该系统通过采用国内先进仪表,和关键仪表选用微机化、数学化仪表,以及对尾砂的流量、浓度、搅拌桶液位,和水泥给料量进行单参数闭环控制和恒值调节,因而它具有控制系统简单、工作可靠、控制效果良好、自动化程度较高的优点。

Jincuan Nickel Mine has constructed a mian,auxiliary and sublevel ramp networks in NO.1 and NO.2 mining district through capital construction and technologic transtormation.The mining capacity after the transformation is 30% higher than the design by use of mechanized underhand cementing fill stoping.
