The maximum horizontal displacement is 3.6m, while, vertical throws amount to 20-30 cm. From the fact that the position of the earthquake fracture zone, its mechanics and movements are rather similar to that of the Xian-Shui Eiver fault, it can be inferred that the Lu-huo earthquake represents the most recent activity ,ofXian-Shui Eiver fault, and should be the necessary result of its movement.

1973年2月6日,四川省甘孜藏族自治州炉霍县发生了7.9级强烈地震,震中烈度为10度,通过震中区沿鲜水河谷产生了长达90公里的地震裂缝带。裂缝以张扭性的为主,伴有少量压性和扭性结构面,其组合型式有反“多”字型、斜列式、锯齿状和棋盘格式等四种,反映的运动方式以水平运动为主,最大水平错距达3.6米,垂直落差都在20—30厘米。本文着重研究了这次地震所产生的各种类型地裂缝的力学特征,结合地质构造背景探讨了地震区应力作用方式及地震成因。从地震裂缝带出现的位置、力学性质、活动方式与鲜水河断裂相一致来看,这次地震是鲜水河断裂的最新活动,是该断裂运动的必然结果。

And the drumlins may usually appear in the gaps where the cracks run en echelion.On the basis of the field observations of the Daofu (M = 6.9) earthquake of 1981 and the information of the Luhuo (M = 7.9) earthquake of 1973, this paper discussed the mechanism of formation of the ground crack zones in terms of photoelastic experiment on clay.The author inclined to consider the studied ground crack zones to be the result of strik-slip movement along the Xianshuihe fault and the drumlins in the gaps between en echelon cracks were generated due to resulting adjustment in the normal direction at both terminals of the cracks from their lateral displacement. According to the shape of the drumlins and thrusting direction the author came to a preliminary conclusion that this kind of ground crack zones can be accounted for by the SSE-trending movement of the Sichuan Yunnan rhombic fault block.

本文以1981年道孚6.9级地震考察资料为基础,结合1973年炉霍地震资料并运用光弹,泥料实验,讨论了鲜水河断裂上反“多”字型地裂缝带的成因机制。笔者认为反“多”字型地裂缝是断层水平剪切运动的产物,出现与相邻两条羽列裂缝交替部位的鼓包是裂缝水平错动在垂直方向调整作用的结果。鼓包两翼往往东陡西缓,鼓包轴部的逆断层也往往由西向东逆掩,这可能与断裂南西侧向南东运动有关,是以滇菱形断块向南南东运动产生的结果。

On the basis of field investigations, including structural conditions, recent crustal movement and tectonic stress fields of the seismic region alongwith ground fractures, isoseis-mals, ground motions, aftershocks, focal mechanism solutions and geodetic observations, the Authors incline to consider that the event in question is caused...

本文以1981年1月24日道孚6.9级地震的宏观考察资料为基础,从震区地质构造条件、近代地壳运动与构造应力场特征出发,结合这次地震地裂缝展布特征、等烈度线形态、地震时的地面运动、余震序列及震源错动特征及地壳形变资料的综合分析,认为此6.9级地震是在区域性近东西向的压应力作用下,使活动强烈的鲜水河断裂再次发生左旋错动的结果。并着重讨论了道孚地震区的闭锁条件以及鲜水河断裂北面地震的迁移过程。
