Dogs were used. The respiratory reactions to the pressor stimulation of the carotid sinus either by the inverted venous sac method or the method depicted in Fig. 1 were variable according to the kinds of anaesthetics used. Dogs under pentothal, sodium amytal or sodium bar-bital usually responded to carotid-sinus pressor stimulation by respiratory excitation. Dogs were used. Dogs under pentothal, sodium amytal or sodium bar-bital usually responded to carotid-sinus pressor stimulation by respiratory excitation. Deepening of anaesthesia did not change the character of the response, but only diminished the response (Fig. 5). The excitatory response was not reversed by double vagotomy (Fig. 2). Dogs under pentobarbital exhibited more inhibitory than excitatory response (Fig. 3). Dogs under chloralose showed either excitatory or diphasic response (Fig. 4). But inhibitory response was the rule with urethane. With the last-mentioned three anaesthetics, double vagotomy led to more profound inhibitory response towards carotid-sinus pressor stimulation (Figs. 3 and 4).

The affects of Chlorpromazine under the present conditions could not be attributed to its direct action upon cerebral cortex,since the direct cortical responses of the isolated cortex were essentially unaffected by the drug. From the results mentioned,it was conjectured that the ascending reticular ativating system may exert its tonic influences mainly on the superficial layers of cerebral cortex. The intravenous injection of Chlorpromazine caused a marked fall in blood pressure.The similarity in the time course between the changes of blood pressure and the cortical responses suggects that the action of Chlorpromazine on reticular formation may also relate to its effect on blood pressure.

一、本工作研究了靜脉注入氯丙嗪对兔皮层体感觉性誘发电位与直接皮层电反应各相成分的影响,并观察了該药对隔离皮层电反应的影响。二、每公斤体重注入4~5毫克的氯丙嗪可使誘发电位与直接皮层电反应的表負波受到显著的阻抑作用.但它們的表正波却受影响不大。誘发电位的次反应(第二正波)亦受到明显的阻抑作用。三、靜脉注入同剂量的氯丙嗪对隔离皮层的直接电反应几乎不发生影响,局部施加氯丙嗪只在浓度很高时始能对皮层电位有阻抑作用。这表明在本实驗条件下,氯丙嗪对皮层电反应的影响不是直接作用皮于层的結果。四、靜脉注入同剂量的氯丙嗪可使血压明显降低,其变化过程与皮层电变化的过程在时程上十分一致,說明氯丙嗪对网状結构上行系統的阻断作用也可能与其对血压的影响有关。五、由上述結果可以推測,网状結构上行激动系統通常主要是对大脑皮层的表层成分发生紧张性影响,以維持与改变其兴奋状态的。

This study was carried out in 36 healthy rabbits,weighted 2000-3000 gm.Animals were divided into three groups:1)cholestorol group,2)hypoxia andcholesterol group,and 3)control group.Rabbits of the cholesterol group werefed by cholesterol-rich diet contained 0.5 gm.cholesterol for each day,six days ina week.Animals of hypoxia and cholesterol group were subjected to a short-termexposure at a simulated altitude of 8000 m.in the chamber five times in a week.At the same time the animals were fed by cholesterol-rich...

This study was carried out in 36 healthy rabbits,weighted 2000-3000 gm.Animals were divided into three groups:1)cholestorol group,2)hypoxia andcholesterol group,and 3)control group.Rabbits of the cholesterol group werefed by cholesterol-rich diet contained 0.5 gm.cholesterol for each day,six days ina week.Animals of hypoxia and cholesterol group were subjected to a short-termexposure at a simulated altitude of 8000 m.in the chamber five times in a week.At the same time the animals were fed by cholesterol-rich diet as the cholesterolgroups.The results were as follows:1.When rabbits were subjected to the condition of hypobaric hypoxia,theconcentration of cholesterol and β-lipoproteins in their blood was lower thanthat in the blood of the cholesterol group,especially in the first four weeks.This phenomenon may be regarded as a result of response of the organism toacute hypoxia.2.Atherosclerotic changes of the aorta in the rabbits of hypoxia and choles-terol group were less apparent than those in the cholesterol group.However,these pathological changes of cardiac artieries in them were more noticeable thanthose in the latter group.We suggest that hypoxia might lead to hemodynamicchanges of the coronary arteries,which facilitate the deposition of hypercholesterolin the blood to this region.

(1)家兔在低压低氧作用下,血清胆固醇和β-脂蛋白的含量较不受缺氧影响其他条件相同的胆固醇组为低,特别在实验的前四周尤为明显,这与动物的急性缺氧反应有关。(2)缺氧胆固醇组家兔主动脉粥样硬化病变较胆固醇组家兔轻,但心室壁及乳头肌的肌间支血管的损害却比胆固醇组明显。我们认为,这可能由于缺氧作用造成了冠状动脉血液动力学的变化,有利于血液中高含量的脂质沉着在这些部位。
