Results Bilateral selective catheterization of OVA were obtained in 102 women, 96.1% of the OVA originated from the anterolateral part of the abdominal aorta, and variations origin occurred in 3.9%.

The bilateral OVA were originated at the same level in 41.2%,the left was above the level of the right in 56.9%,and the right was above of the left in 2.0%.

Results Among 39 cases of TPFs, 1 case of intercondylar eminence fracture, 1 case of internal condyle fracture and 1 case of bilateral con-dyle fracture were respectively missing on plain film. The 3 cases (7. 69%) of TPFs were obviously demonstrated by 16 slice SCT.

The endocotonal suture endosagittal suture and endolambdoid suture united earliest at 20, 20 and at 20 years-old respectively, which incomplete union of all three suture occurred latest at 78 yearsold. The rates of different degree of union of bilateral ectocoronal, endocoronal,ectolambdoid, and endolambdoid sutures were 34.28%,12.14%,14.28%,and 5.71% respectively. After processing the data from the study, the main factors which influence the cranial suture closure are the length of the body, the right third part of the ectocoronal suture, the left third part of the endocoronal suture, the second part of the endosagittal suture, the left first and third parts of ectolambdoid suture,when F value is 4. After the data was subjected to regression analysis, the regression equation (R=0.7381) used for estimating the age. The use of regression equation permits 75.71% of the estimation being within 14 years-old of the actual age. The results from the phantom measurements showed, (l) The effective field corresponding to an average-size patient is 25X 25cm2, and a method for estimating the effective field of human body is given. (2) The midplane doses are consistently higher than those of surfaces, but the dose ratio of midplane to surface decreases as the body thickness increases, and asignificant negative correlation is existed between the dose ratio and thickness, thus a linear regression line is fitted. (3) The anterior-posterior (AP) or AP+ bilateral irradiation will yield a more uniform dose distribution in the whole body than the bilateral irradiation. (4) The dose uniformity can apparently be improved by the tissue compensation, for which the technique is described.
