Chief results are:color removal 85—95%,COD removal 80—95%,BOD_5 removal 40—60%;metallicions with variable valence less than 0.5 mg/1.Power consumption...

    Iron polymers of various OH/Fe ratio were made from 0.3M FeCl3 solution by partial neutralization. Physico-chemical characteristics were determined and jar tests conducted to identify the chemical species. When OH/Fe = 0-0.4, low polymers formed and coagulation efficiency was very high in the reference suspension used. When OH/ Fe>0.4, high polymers formed and their charging density reduced. The coagulation efficiency also reduced slightly. When OH/Fe>1.5, the products tended to be sols and precipitated....

    It is discovered that chlorinated aluminium hydroxide, which is a new type of coagulator with high efficiency and quality, could remove silver from the waste water of film industry successfully. Several factors which affect the coagulation were investigated. After treating, the concentration of the silver in the water was generally 0.003-0.005ppm. It reaches the drain standrad of our country and the quality of the water was good. Therefore cycle usage of the water could be considered.

    发现新型、高效、优质混凝剂——聚合氯化铝对胶片工业废水有很好除银效果,并对影响该混凝过程的主要因素进行了研究。经处理后的废水银含量一般在0.003—0.005ppm,达到国家排放标准,水质也好。
