Synthetic speech intelligibility and naturalness are both quite satisfactory. Moreover, hardware is simple. Thus it can be adapted in communication engineering.

Computer simulation as a modern research tool has mattured considerably. We have ever tried to use this method in research works and has made some progresses in digital communication field. This paper summed up the experience of simulation research works and discussed the main subjects of computer simulation in data communication, it contain simulation process end method, composition of cause systems, objctive system and its considerations, objctive system element and its implementation, and analyses of simulation results and so on. All of the discussion is intimately tied with digital signal processing, however, this paper did not introduce these fields, reader should refer to related references.

作为现代科研手段的计算机模拟已相当成熟,我们曾在科研工作中采用了这种方法,并且在数字通信的科研中取得了一定成果,这篇文章是我们计算机模拟研究工作的总结,这里主要讨论了数据传输系统计算机模拟的主要问题,它们包括模拟的过程和方法,原系统的建立,目标系统及其考虑,目标系统元件和它的实现,以及模拟结果的分析等方面的问题。所有这些讨论与数字信号处理是密切相关的,然而我们并没有深入讨论这方面的问题,如果需要读者可参阅有关参考书。
