    Transmission line theory is applied to the study of a system of uniform parallel coupled multi-strips, considering only the coupling of the nearest neighbors. It is found that there are three normal modes-the odd-even mode, the odd-odd mode and the even-even mode. By studying the influence of the length of the coupled meander line on the propagating mode, we find that when the length L is an odd-multiple of /4, only the odd-even mode can propagate; when L is an even-multiple of /4, only the odd-odd mode...
