The experimental result indicated that the total yield, net income and productivity from new intercrossing model of horse bean + vegetable/sword bean-autumn corn was 2.77, 3.89 and 2.89 times higher than that from the traditional intercrossing model of cotton/horse bean, respectively. The model provided a useful approach of adjusting agricultural industrial structure with sustaining development and high efficiency.

Results indicated that soil NO 3 N was the main form absorbed by the RCUS. It was found that N contents of the different organs of the RCUS was always higher than those of WT. Great absorption and accumulation of N of RCUS happened mostly after jointing stage, while the rice crop in waterlogged soil absorbed N in large amounts from transplanting stage to filling stage. The highest rice yield on upland soil was found in the treatment of the soil mulched with HM but lower than that in waterlogged soil. The water consumption, however, in upland soil was much less than that in waterlogged soil, thus, the irrigating water use efficiency of RCUS was 12 times as much as WT.

The micro-nuclear test of horse bean(Vicia faba) root tip cell was utilized to study effect of toxic metal Hg(1-100?mg/L) on horse bean root tip cell and to analyze mitotic index and total frequency of aberrations of horse bean root tip cell mitosis. The results showed that low concentration of heavy metal Hg promoted cell division and high concentration restrained cell division. Total frequency of aberration rose with the increase of the concentration.

利用蚕豆根尖微核及染色体畸变技术研究了汞对植物遗传和变异的影响。试验设计了不同浓度的汞处理蚕豆根尖 ,分别统计其细胞有丝分裂情况及染色体行为。结果表明 :不同浓度汞处理对根尖细胞分裂、微核率及染色体畸变有不同程度的影响 :汞对细胞分裂影响表现为低浓度促进细胞分裂 ,高浓度抑制 ;对植物诱变性能表现为 ,较低浓度时对蚕豆根尖的毒害作用相对较弱 ,但随着浓度的增加诱变效应增强 ,毒性亦增强。
