In this article, the following four problems are discussed.1. When seedlings are mechanically clamped and pulled, they will be brought into mechanical action in case of losing their original state. In other words, the seedlings will be subjected to complicated force factors. The effect of these factors which are analyzed by means of qualitative and quantitative analyses is the basis of reasonably designing of rice seedling puller.2. On the basis of the analysis and research described previously, we will discuss how to assess the design project for the main components of the cylinder type rice seedling puller; how to choose the main parameters, for instance, decision of cylinder diameter, pulling position, selection of pulling angle, determination for twisted and broken angle of seedling stems etc.3. the cylinders are the essential parts of this machine.Whether the machine is excellent or not depends upon their working performances.Their design requirements are as follows: when the seedlings are clamped and pulled, the clamping force on each clamping point should be uniform; after seedlings have been pulled out, it is required to relax the clamped force for rolling opposed cylinders with them so as to remove mud, furthermore, contact on the whole length of cylinder contact line is in good condition, and their working performances are consistent. To meet these requirements as described above, the waist drum curve of steel element of the rubber cylinder should be calculated. The design procedure will be explained in detail in this article, also the experimental results in laboratory and in the fields will be introduced.4. One of the features of the cylinder type rice seedling puller lies in a lot of seedlings to be pulled out once and therefore resulting in too much mud attached to them. With the aim of solving the problem about the seedlings attached too much mud, we will study the process of relieving the seedlings from mud by the concept of FORMING MUD-ROCK FLOW and then select reasonable parameters so as to produce good effect.

本文主要介绍下列四个问题,进行分析讨论。 一、秧苗被机械夹持起拔时,一般都在失去原来形态的情况下,来承受机械作用力,也就是使秧苗受力因素复杂化。定性定量地分析研究这些因素对断伤秧的影响,是合理设计拔秧机的基础。 二、以上述分析研究为基础,如何评定滚筒拔秧机设计方案;如何选定主要参数,诸如筒径的决定,拔位的选择,起拔角,茎秆受折受扭角的确定等。 三、滚筒体是本机核心部件,其工作性能之优劣直接决定本机之成败。它的设计要求是:夹紧秧苗起拔时,要求各夹持点夹紧力均匀一致;当拔起后滚秧去泥时,要求夹力放松,但两滚筒接触线全长上接触良好,滚秧性能一致。为满足这两项要求,须设法计算橡胶滚筒体的钢制筒芯的腰鼓形曲线。本文较详细地介绍了这一设计计算程序,并提供室内测试和大田试验结果。 四、滚筒拔秧特点是一次拔秧株数较多,因而带泥也多。本文用“泥石流”成因的概念,来研究滚秧去泥过程,从而合理选择参数,使滚秧去泥效果良好。
