Nosema locustae could be propagated using cotton locust and used for Chondracris rosea management in forest with concentration of 5×107 and 1×108 sporozoite/ml, and the death rate were up to 94.9%～100%.
Optimum extracting conditions of flavonoids of locust were investigated by single factor and orthogonal experiment. The result showed that the extraction rate was optimum under 65 °C,90% methanol and extracting for 2 h. Especially content of Oxya chinensis was up to 20.15 mg/gDW.
