The authors made the reseach of the strong laser's damage power to the living tissues of human body by irradiating 12 persons' skins with co_2laser (power 7W) and YAG laser (power 7W and 56W) in different times. The result showed that laser had direct relations with the living tissues' effective depth and wavelength, irradiation time and the power's density.
After carburizing for 15 min. and diffusing for 60 min. at 950℃ and then hardening was carried out by water quenching, the surface hardness of the specimen turned out to be 900 (Hv) and the effective depth of carburization layer was 1.4mm.
The result shows that the deficiency of high temperature cooling rate of N32 mechanical oil is the reason of it's unsuitable for the quenching of 60Si2Mn plate spring which effective depth is deeper than 12mm.
This paper presents a newly developed simulating device that can demonstrate the mechanism of vacuum preloading. The simulating device can visually demonstrate the process of transformation and transfer of stress between pore water pressure and soil skeleton in the process of vacuum preloading to improve soft soils,thus explaining and solving the problem of affecting depth of vacuum preloading. Results of the experiments and analyses effectively prove that the effective depth of soil improvement by vacuum preloading is more than 10 m.
