The accelerating genetic algorithm is briefly reviewed,and then it is employed to predict the container throughput of Shanghai Harbor.The results are compared with those based on the neural network technique and from the grey model,respectively.Comparisons show that the accelerating genetic algorithm is a simple method with high precision and an effective way to predict the container throughput.The achievements could offer a basis for planning and construction of container terminals.

本文首先简述加速基因算法的基本思路 ,然后应用加速基因算法对上海港集装箱吞吐量进行预测 ,并与基于神经网络、灰色理论的预测成果比较。结果表明 ,加速基因算法直观简单 ,预测精度高 ,是解决港口集装箱吞吐量等非线性系统预测问题的有效途径。预测成果可为港口集装箱码头的规划和建设提供参考依据
