The 3-D pressure distri-bution in inner and outer oilfilm and the stationary characteristics of this bearing are givenand the change law of tbe shaft-centre, floating-ring-centre and the velocity-ratio on thering to shaft etc are brought to light,Two test sample have been made and the experimence issuccessful. The tesults of the compute and experimence have made clear that this bearinghas many advantages and it can be predicted that this bearing will find wide use in the pre-cision grinder area and other rotary machinery at high speed.
