The influence of synchronous adhesion coefficient on brake force distribution of motor vehicles is described in this paper. In order to improve braking efficiency and stability, an optimum design method of synchronous adhesion coefficient of motor vehicles equipped with adjustable brake force units has been found by reference to EEC code.Finally,as an example, the synchronous adhesion coefficient for the BJ 121 trucks has been optimistically designed.

Based on a study on the mechanism of braking torgue generation by a supporting pin type twodirection automatic booster brake, the analytic eguations of brake efficiency factor for this type of brake are derived. Thus the problem of calculating the efficiency factor of two-direction automatic booster brake which can be solved for a long time only by plotting, has been now solved. It provides a reliable basis for perfecting the design of this type of brake and improving brake force distribution between axles....
