A study has been made of the influence of tungsten (6%) and chromium (5~10%) on the oxidation of iron in the temperature range 600-800℃. From x-ray analysis of the structure of oxide layers, it has shown that an improvement of tungsten and chromium on the oxidation of iron alloys is due to presence of complex oxides in inner layer, which provent ferrous oxide from glowing or forming.

A study is made of the synergistic effect of inhibitor of two compositions on the HSAB principle. Experiment results show that the synergistic effect of some complex inhibitors is due to the fairly satisfactory matched relation between the organic inhibitors and the protected metals from the HSAB point of view.
