The activities of North Pacific extratropical cyclones during 1968—1987 are estimated byusing the historical climatic data. Some synoptic climate characteristics including frequency andintensity of cyclonegenesis, geographic distribution of cyclone formation and dissipation, strongcyclone wind intensity and its distribution are summarized.
The charcteristics of atmospheric turbidity over Desert and Gobi area where there is special boundary layer are summarized by calculating and analysising atmospheric tur-bidity in summer 1990.In terms of the variations of the coefficient of atmospheric tur-bidity βand wave-length index α,the optical thickness, the genesis and dissipation ofthe atmospheric sand and dust are discussed. Furthermore, using the methods fromVolz. and Arao.
In the present paper, we deal with the long-time behavior of dissipative partial differential equations, and we construct the approximate inertial manifolds for the nonlinear Schr?dinger equation with a zero order dissipation.
The relative dielectric constant εr and the dissipation factor tgδ of the PZT thin films were measured with an LCR meter and were found to be 158 and 0.04-0.005, respectively.
The sap flow density, water consumption, and related environmental factors were also measured using thermal dissipation method and ICT-2000TE (Transpiration-Environment) automatic measuring system for tree transpiration and environmental factors.
