Normally, problems such as the narrow interval between channels, the noise disturbance, and the power supply with battery working long time, etc exist in marine acoustics signal transmission system. accordingly, the receiver should be characterized by narrowband filtering, high Signal to Noise Ratio and very low power dissipation.
Authors' model test of irregular wave with current approved that the calculated results of wave elevation spectrum, velocity and acceleration spectrum as well as bottom friction energy dissipation agree well with the authors experimental data.
Part II: A third possible mechanism for the effect of nonuniform current on short waves is suggested, which ascribes the modulation of short wave spectrum by current to that the current changes the drift, through which it changes the breaking criteria, as a result the energy dissipation is altered.
In this paper, We deal with the mathematical model for wave deformations in shoaling water, in which both the refraction due to water depth variation and energy dissipation due to bottom friction in the process of the propagation of the wave are taken into consideration and the water oscillation is assumed to be linear simple harmonic wave.
A series of computations were made for various wave incident directions (α_0<70°) and current directions(β<30°)with two different assumptions: (1) including energy dissipation by bottom friction; (2) neglecting energy dissipation by bottom friction. For engineering practical purposes, nomograms were drawn for the case of straight contour line and current of uniform distribution in the absence of bottom friction dissipation.
The action balance equation, its discrete demand, the method dealing boundary condition, and source terms (the wind input, the energy dissipation and nonlinear wave-wave interactions) are detailed discussed, and special emphasis is put on the triad wave-wave interactions.
In respect of the long time vibration and better drain conditions it is very important to consider the pore-water pressure dissipation and redistribution, during and after the period of vibrations.
The comparison of effective stresses progression under different seepage coefficients indicates the accumulation and dissipation effect of pore pressure and their influence to the effective stresses.
In the present paper, we deal with the long-time behavior of dissipative partial differential equations, and we construct the approximate inertial manifolds for the nonlinear Schr?dinger equation with a zero order dissipation.
The relative dielectric constant εr and the dissipation factor tgδ of the PZT thin films were measured with an LCR meter and were found to be 158 and 0.04-0.005, respectively.
The sap flow density, water consumption, and related environmental factors were also measured using thermal dissipation method and ICT-2000TE (Transpiration-Environment) automatic measuring system for tree transpiration and environmental factors.
