Based on experimental and thermal engineering measurement data,an analysis was made on passive building thermal characteristics in hot weather areas and their thermal effects on persons.A new thermal insulation design calculation method is introduced to further the use of aluminum foiled insulation and temperature control surfaces for passive temperature control in buildings.The practice has proven the good performance of designs using such materials.
