In order to spread its practical use to such scopes as sweltering hot con-trol cabins in the metallurgical shops and that on the traveling machines forfield work at subtropical zones, an analogous test with hot air for the semi-conductive thermoelectical air-cooling conditioners and investigations have beentaken based on former research.This paper is written with an attempt to de-duce the relation between the input air temperatures both on heat and coldsides and the cold quantities and the relation between the input air temperatureand difference in temperature, thus expressing a considerable fact that thecold quantities increase slowly instead of decrease with a rise in temperatu-re of input air. It has been also verified by test. Such an air-cooling condi-tioner is available to the sites environed by the air haviag a temperaturebelow 50°c. The difference in temperature of cooling effect isn't less than 14℃as 30A working current and 386 pairs of semiconductor blocks.

In this paper the contruction of the hot-wall type combustor in a small-scale MHD plant and the experimental study carried on it are described. In the burner, compressed air is used as the atomizing medium, light diesel oil as the fuel, and high-temperature preheated air at 1520—1750°K as the oxidant. In this paper the contruction of the hot-wall type combustor in a small-scale MHD plant and the experimental study carried on it are described. In the burner, compressed air is used as the atomizing medium, light diesel oil as the fuel, and high-temperature preheated air at 1520—1750°K as the oxidant. Heat loss of the combustor is estimated to be below 3%, and the degree of complete combustion is almost perfect. The corresponding temperature of the products of combustion ranges over 2570—2700°K at the inlet of the MHD generator. The results of measurements on thc temperature of the hot gas, the composition of the products of combustion, the losses etc. are also listed.

本文叙述了JS—1小型磁流体发电装置中热壁型燃烧室的结构,以及有关的试验条件,燃烧器利用空气作雾化介质。使用轻柴油作燃料,1520~1770°K高温预热空气作氧化剂。主燃烧室散热损失<3%,燃烧效率达到接近完善的程度。进入磁流体发电机之前,相应的燃气温度为2570~2700°K。文中还列出了有关燃气温度、燃气成分分析、散热损失等方面的部份测量数据。
