Normal wave forms of spinal evoked potentials of the lower thoracic and lumbar spinous process intervals(T9-L 6) were recorded with bipolar surface electrodes by stimulating the posterior tibial nerve at the left dog's ankle, and the comparison of potential latencies as well as amplitudes recorded at different segments are reported in this paper.The predominant negative (N1), positive (P1) double potentials were recorded for the lower thoracic and lumbar sites. The N1 wave was rather steady at all recorded segments, but Pl wave was variable in the thoracic channels. The amplitudes of the response time were large at the L1-4 spinal segments being largest at the L2-3 segments (N1: 0.8uy, P1; 0.9uv) and its response time was fairly long. Potential responses were low at the segments above and below L1-4, and the amplitudes were progressively decreased and even disappeared rostrally. Changes of peak latencies were quite regular, the differences were small but tended to increase rostally.

After degeneration of the intervertebral disc the stress level in the facet was elevated and the yellow ligament and the facet capsule bore more loading. From this study, it was concluded that the facets played an important role in the biomechanics of the lumbar spine, and its overloading might be one of the causes for back pain. Degeneration of the disc would increase thc load on the facets and leaded to stenosis of the nerve canals and entrapment of the nerve roots.

(1) Increasing SLNS, which activated the cricothyroid muscle,caused a marked increase in fundamental frequency of vibration(F_0). (2) RLNS voltages determined both vibratory threshold glottal air flow rate and vibratory patterns, such as breath, mode and pressed voice.(3) Increasing RLNS produced a regular increase in F_0 in the mode, but a decrese in F_0 and a marked increase of subglottal pressure in the pressed voice. In addition, several kinds of laryngeal paralyses were simulated by SLNS and RLNS based on the pathology of paralyses and the mechanism of nerve control for phonation. Experimental results showed that in vivo model possessed a further approximation to the vibration condition of human vocal folds than excised laryngeal model and other methods.

本文借助于喉动态镜和作者研制的多功能声门图仪研究了在麻醉状态下,犬喉神经用电刺激的同时,调节声门气流使声带振动的方法;摸清了声门气流、喉上神经与喉返神经受电刺激的变化对声带体振动的影响;同时用电刺激喉上神经与喉返神经模拟了几种喉麻痹。实验结果表明:活体犬喉模型比离喉和其它方法更逼近于了解人体声带的振动。
