Results of the TP4OB test series conducted in 1980-1981 at ECF are described in the paper, including the performance of the combustor,...

An imitative cylindric furnace, diameter 80mm, was used for contrast test between the case with porous medium and the case without porous medium. Experimental results show that. convection-radiation energy conversion effect enhances the heat transfer by radiation in imitative furnace and the gas temperature in upstream side of porous medium obviously rises, meanwhile the gas temperature in downstream side of porous medium obviusly reduces.

在模拟圆筒炉中进行了加装多孔介质和不加装多孔介质的对比实验,结果表明,多孔介质的对流-辐射能量转换效应强化了炉内的幅射传热,明显地提高了多孔介质上游侧的气体温度和降低了多孔介质下游侧的气体温度。
