Euler parameter is the normalized quaternion. It has been recently employed in kinematic and dynamic analysis of multi-body system to describle the body orientation with respect to the inertial reference system. However, how to describle the relative orientation between two contiguous bodies in system is still a question which is being discussed.

This paper shows that the classical method of kinetostatics can be applied to derive dynamic equations of any mecanical system, holonomic or nonholonomic, by dealing with it's formulation properly without using dynamic functions. These equations are expressed in matrix form, so that it can be carried out with computer. Multi-body system of tree shaped and manipulation robots are served as examples.

将经典动静法的形式作适当处理后可用于推导一般完整或非完整力学系统的动力学方程,而避免使用动力学函数。这种方程可以采用矩阵形式写出以便面向计算机,文中以树状多刚体系统及操作机器人为例子说明其应用。
