Further checks were also done by applying short circuits, sudden change of prime mover motive power, sudden variation of transmission line parameters, load rejections, etc.; as a result, it has been discovered that the power system stabilizer with frequency as its control signal gives good performance and easily be realized in practice. Constructional details and parameters of power system stabilizer are also given in this paper. Factory has been arranged to produce such power system stabilizer in accordance with the results of this investigation, this should be an effective and a realistic way to improve the stability of electric power system of our country. |
