This paper reports the results of the laboratory study of the inhibition effectsinsect growth regulator (IGR) Diflubenzuron (DFBZ) against the of the Asiancorn borer (ACB), Ostrinia furnacalis (Guenee) (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae).ACB fed on artificial diet, which containing DFBZ from lethal doses (10—100ppm)to sublethal doses (0.025—5ppm) are chosen for the study of the effectsof DFBZ on each ACB development stage.The result shows that when a high lethal dose(100ppm) is applied, all larvaedie in early instar. But when the dose is below 10ppm, lethal effects and inhibitioneffects on the growth and development of ACB in varying degrees are observed.The lethal effects is closely correlated to the concentration of the dose.Moreover, the time of exposure also closely correlated to the inhibition effects,a shorter time of exposure also results in inhibition.The results of our experiment indicate that DFBZ can be used as new typepesticide of low pollution to control ACB.This study provides some informations to the field trial and application.

本文报道昆虫生长调节剂灭幼脲Ⅰ号(Diflubellzuron)对亚洲玉米螟(Ostriniafurlzacalis Guenée)生长发育抑制效应的实验室研究结果。用人工饲养的玉米螟研究了致死剂量与亚致死剂量的灭幼脲Ⅰ号对各发育阶段的影响。证明,在高致死剂量(100ppm)下,幼虫全部死于早期。而在10ppm以下则有不同程度的致死效应及对生长发育的抑制效应。浓度与抑制效应显著相关,而且表现出对低浓度的灭幼脲Ⅰ号有较高的敏感性。还证明灭幼脲Ⅰ号的作用时间也与抑制效应的强度密切相关,而且短时间的取食就可产生抑制效应。表明灭幼脲Ⅰ号是可以用于控制玉米螟的一种低公害的新型杀虫剂。本试验为田间试验及应用提供一些实验依据。

The present paper constitutes the introductory part of a series of papers on the estuarine ecosystem of Juilong River in the vicinity of Xiamen (Amoy),giving a brief account of the geographical position,physical environment,fisheries and pollution,together with notes on the species com- position of plankton,benthos and nekton occurring in this estuarine region.The Juilong estuary with its rich fauna and flora,especially its fertile water would provide a rather good environment for the development of fisheries,particularly...

The present paper constitutes the introductory part of a series of papers on the estuarine ecosystem of Juilong River in the vicinity of Xiamen (Amoy),giving a brief account of the geographical position,physical environment,fisheries and pollution,together with notes on the species com- position of plankton,benthos and nekton occurring in this estuarine region.The Juilong estuary with its rich fauna and flora,especially its fertile water would provide a rather good environment for the development of fisheries,particularly the aquiculture of edible molluscs,crustaceans and algae.The author is of the opinion that the estuarine ecosystem research should be carried out there with the aim of enhancing the yield of fish-eries products,so as to increase the supply of high-protein marine food for the people.During the past two years,a preliminary investigation has been undertaken on the following two subjects:(1) Species composition,distribution and population ecology of zooplankton;(2) The feeding habits and food-chain of Salanx,an edible plankton-feeding fish in the estuary.The papers embodying the results o?the above investigations will be published in this journal soon.Jn addition,the other subjects of esturine ecosystem research such as productivity,energy-flow and the cycle of matter are expected to be carried out in the near future.

本文概述了九龙江口的地理位置、自然环境、生物组成和分布,渔业生产及污染等研究,指出今后要开展食物链、生产力、能量流动、物质循环及污染等课题的研究,为今后河口水域的生态系研究打下基础。
