    In this work the argon atomized powders of superalloy 1N100 were utilized. Powders thermodegassed under vacuum were filled into stainless steel containers, which were consolidated by hot extrusion after sealing. Effects of parameters of extrusion on the superplasticity and other mechanical properties of the alloy were investigated. The result has shown that hot extruded P/M IN100 alloy exhibits excellent superplasticity. The elongation of tensile samples can be over 1000% at 1040℃ and strain rate of 10-2-10-3/min,...

    In this work the argon atomized powders of superalloy 1N100 were utilized. Effects of parameters of extrusion on the superplasticity and other mechanical properties of the alloy were investigated. The result has shown that hot extruded P/M IN100 alloy exhibits excellent superplasticity. The elongation of tensile samples can be over 1000% at 1040℃ and strain rate of 10-2-10-3/min, and its flow stress is only about 1.0-2.5 kgf/mm2. The characteristic ultrafine microstructure of superplastic alloy as well as its varieties of structures and properties after heat treatment were described. The mechanical properties and creep rupture properties of P/M 1N100 are better than those of as-cast material.

    本工作采用氩气雾化INl00合金粉,经真空脱气,装入不锈钢套,封焊后,进行热挤压。挤压棒材具有良好的超塑性,在温度为1040℃应变速率为10~(-2)~10~(-3)/min时,拉伸试样的延伸率可达824~1090%,流动应力仅为1.O~1.5kgf/mm~2。本文研究了挤压工艺参数对合金超塑性和机械性能的影响,探索了最佳超塑性的温度范围,研究了超塑性合金的组织特点以及经热处理后的组织变化。试验结果说明热挤压粉末IN100合金的室温和7000℃的抗张性能以及持久性能均优于铸造IN100合金。

    Addition of Hf to a superalloy is one of the effective approaches to improve its mid-temperature properties. Based on R-alloy the apparent variations of the microstructure and phase composition in the alloy after addition of Hf were studied. As a result, in Hf-bearing alloy nearly 90% of Hf were dissolved into γ' phase, the rest were dissolved into the carbides and formed a small amount of Ni5Hf phase, and a trace of Hf went into the alloy matrix.     Addition of Hf to a superalloy is one of the effective approaches to improve its mid-temperature properties. Based on R-alloy the apparent variations of the microstructure and phase composition in the alloy after addition of Hf were studied. As a result, in Hf-bearing alloy nearly 90% of Hf were dissolved into γ' phase, the rest were dissolved into the carbides and formed a small amount of Ni5Hf phase, and a trace of Hf went into the alloy matrix. As a result of dissolution of large quantity of Hf into γ' phase, the amount of γ' phase (including γ'+γ eu-tectic phase) increased from 62 wt%(R-alloy) to 64 wt%(1.5%Hf RH-alloy, the solution temperature of γ' phase increased by about 40℃, and the high temperature mi-crohardness of RH-alloy was obviously higher than R-alloy. As Hf was concentrated in the interdendrite region, the amount of the (γ'+γ) eutectic increased from 8 vol% (R-alloy) to 18 vol% (RH-alloy), therefore, the increase of eutectic (γ'+γ) contributed virtually to the increase of v'.Addition of Hf caused the morphology of the MC and M3B2 to convert from the forms of "script" or skeleton to those of plate or block and the solidusliquidus of the alloy to lower and the mushy region to broaden by approximately 10℃.

This is checked with the relative stabilities of the oxides of Ti, Cr, Al contained in the alloy with CoO. This was also verified by the pure Ni blades for which there was no effect at all. Because of the similarity of the crystal structure and the lattice constants of the metallic Co and the superalloy, the Co particles can act as nucleators refining the grains. In production practice, if SiO_2 is precipitated in local area of inner surface of mould and so the inoculant particles were covered with it, the nucleation effect is markedly reduced. In order to prevent the metallic Co remelting back, lower pouring temperature is preferred; and to enhance the reduction of CoO.Al_2O_3, higher heating temperature of mould is desirable.

    选用20%CoO和80%Al_2O_3配成的CoO孕育剂,对铸造镍基高温合金涡轮叶片,是一种有效的孕育剂。CoO和Al_2O_3粉末混匀,在1300℃下煅烧2h后,成为在α-Al_2O_3颗粒表面上沉积蓝色CoO·Al_2O_3尖晶石层。浇铸过程中,铸造镍基高温合金中如C,Cr,V,Ti,Al等活泼元素还原CoO,生成面心立方晶系的金属Co.因其结晶结构和晶格常数与基体高温合金相近,就能促进叶片表面晶粒细化。在生产实践中,应该避免生成SiO_2的“白霜”,并注意合理降低浇铸温度和提高模壳焙烧温度。
