In this paper a new type winding of electrical machines--harmonic distribution winding hasbeen presented. This technique differs from the conventional one and it purposefully makes use of harmonic field in air gap generated by this winding for harmonic compensation or approach. In many applications,it has been proved that the limit of linearity in linear rotatory transformers may be broken by means of this winding and the linearity may be held on grade 0(±0.055% or ±2'),in some products even...

The design principles have been discussed in detail through analysing the operation features of the Gunn diode at higher mm-wave band. An emphasis is laid on the analysis of the contradiction in diode design between the requirements of the thermal parameters and RF parasitics that the formulas are deducted to estimate the design parameters of the diode chip and package. The diode processing technologies with the use of GaAs/ AsCl3/H2 VPE, non-CN amd non-NH4 plated gold-heatsink, and cross-gold ribbon bonding...

The resultant V-band diodes have maximum power output of 130mW and maximum efficiency of 3.8%. The oscillators using these diodes have been used successively in 50°K, 4GHz uncooled low-noise parametric amplifiers and microwave remote-radiometers. The diodes exhibit output over 10mW at 94GHz in harmonic oscillation manner. The paper also presents the reliability investigation of the diode; and the predicted average operation life time at room-temperature is over 1.4×10eh.

This is the first of three papers on the system oscillation occurring in a hot strip mill of a large iron and steel corporation.It is shown that the oscillation (or hunting) in question is a kind of oscillation found not only with integral but also non-integral of a dynamic system which is nonlinear and is built up through the coupling between electrical quantities of the A. C. and D. C. sides of an SCR bridge. The principle and method for studying this kind of dynamic system by means of frequency characteristics...
