Analyses on the geochemistry of 22 elements of 112 surface sediment samples from the central South China Sea Basin suggest that: 1) Various types of deep sea sediment exert a fundamental control on the chemical composition of the sediments. The differences and relative proportions of the component minerals in the sediments, which are divided into slope carbonates and deep sea clays, determine the concentrations of major elements, such as Si, Al, Ca, Mg, Fe, Mn, Ti, Na and K etc. 2) Trace elements are preferably concentrated in deep-sea clays derived mainly from terrigenous detrital materials, but as compared with typical pelagic sediments, the trace element abundances show regional differences, Based on the analysis of correlation, occurring form and paragenetic association of trace elements, it is suggested that the heavy metal elements such as Ni, Cu, Zn, Co and Pb are probably related to the adsorption of colloidal Fe-Mn solids and some elements such as B, Ti, Zr, Cr and V are largely absorbed on clay minerals, that both Sr and Ca are of biogeneous enrichment, and that Ba intergrows with Cu, Pb and Ag, which indicates that Ba results mainly from submarine vocanic activity and partly from biological process. 3) The contents of Corg and N are related to the biomass, and no obvious relationship with grain size and redox environment is recognized.

本文通过对南海中部112个沉积物样品中的22种元素地球化学的研究,认为:(1)主要元素Si(包括自生硅)、Al、Ca、Mg、Fe、Mn、Ti、Na、K等,基本上受沉积物类型的控制,陆坡碳酸盐和深海粘土两大类型的沉积物,其矿物组分的差异和相对数量决定了各主要元素的分布;(2)以陆源碎屑成因为主的深海粘土类较有利于微量元素的富集,但微量元素含量与典型大洋沉积物相比,表现出地区差异性。文中通过对各微量元素的相关性、赋存状态以及共生组合分析,提出Ni、Cu、Zn、Co、Pb等重金属元素部分通过铁锰胶体粒吸附,部分通过粘土矿物吸附而富集;B、Ti、Zr、Cr、V主要为粘土吸附;Sr与Ca同属生物成因聚集;Ba除与生物作用有关外,尚与Cu、Pb、Ag共生并与海底火山活动密切相关;(3)有机碳和氮含量除与生物量有关外,它们与沉积物粒度和氧化还原环境的关系不明显。

In this paper the results of the determination of abundance in some major elements from the oceanic surface sediments are aescribed, which were sampled from the middle-Southern YellowSea and the North East China Sea.By analysing the data of abundance,and the probability distribution as well as the association of some major elements, the following conclusions are arrived at:(1)The Al, Fe, Mg,Na,K high content areas are coincident with clay sediments, while the si high content areas are coincident...

In this paper the results of the determination of abundance in some major elements from the oceanic surface sediments are aescribed, which were sampled from the middle-Southern YellowSea and the North East China Sea.By analysing the data of abundance,and the probability distribution as well as the association of some major elements, the following conclusions are arrived at:(1)The Al, Fe, Mg,Na,K high content areas are coincident with clay sediments, while the si high content areas are coincident with sandy sediments, and the ca high content areas are coincident with bio clastic sediments;(2)Al correlates positively, with K, Mg, Na, Fe. The correlation between Mg and Fe, and among si, P and Al is positive.Ca and Mn are not remarkably related to Al;(3)The Al, Fe, Mn, Mg, Na, K as well as p contents in sediments tend to decrease with the distance from the seacoast and with the increase of water depth. The si and Ca contents vary from place to place. The abundance of Si in sediments increases with water depth in the Yellow Sea area.Ca shows irregular variation. Whereas Ca increases with Water depth,Si is not remarkably related to water depth in the North Eastern Sea;(4)The sediments of the Yellow Sea were derived from the Yellow River, and those of the North Eastern Sea derived from the Yangtse River.

本文测定了取自黄海南部和东海北部的某些表层沉积物主要元素的含量.根据主要元素的丰度、概率分布及其共生组合得到下列结果: 1.Al、Fe、Mg、Na、K的高含量分布地区与粘土沉积物相一致.Si的高含量区与砂质沉积相一致.Ca的高含量区与生物碎屑沉积物相一致; 2.Al与K、Mg、Na、Fe呈正相关.Mg与Fe之间,Si、P和Al之间也是正相关,Ca和Mn与Al没有明显的关系; 3.沉积物中Al、Fe、Mn、Mg、Na、K和P的含量随着远离海岸和海水深度增加趋于降低,Ca的变化没有规律。相反,在东海北部随着水深Ca含量增加,而Si与水深没有明显关系; 4.黄海沉积物来源于黄河,东海北部沉积物来自长江。
