All the degradation products were analyzed by identifying with GC-MS. The identified products of DDT with Cu-Zn couple in water were found to be DDD, DDMS, and DDEt. In this paper a thermodynamic model of adsorption of cadmium on activated carbons is deduced on the basis of statistic thermodynamics, and according to a mathmatic analytic model being established for a "Cadmium-cyanides-oxides" Solution system, chemical compositions of cadmium cyanide wastewaters are calculated through the use of computer under different pH conditions. Also the paper discusses major factors effecting the adsorption and provides experimental parameters for designing medium-size test model....
