In a prediction area where metallogenic-geological conditions are complicated and mineral deposits are polygenetic, a correct classification of ore deposits in the area constitutes an important problem not yet recognized in the past. This problem is important because its correct solution will provide a reliable foundation for developing an effective statistical predicting model. This paper gives an example on the solution of this problem.2. The author suggests that a model-unit should be defined in terms of the comprehensive ore-controlling information as a whole. A new procedure of redefining the model-units within a unit cell is also put forward, thereby improving the reliability of the statistical model.3. The final factor in constructing a statistical model is the etest or verification of the model. The author recommends using the "back substitution" and the "redundant" methods for this purpose.

本文结合广东铁矿预测的实践,讨论在成矿预测的几个环节中,影响建立成矿地质条件统计模型的有关因素。1.在预测区内,对成矿地质条件复杂、多成因类型的矿种,涉及到划分预测矿床的问题,正确的划分将为预测模型提供可靠的基础。2.文中提出以综合控矿信息的整体性为前提划分模型单元,以提高统计模型的真实性。3.验证是建立预测模型必不可少的一环,本文提出用回代法和冗余法进行检验。

The present paper deals with the O--A1 center and Ecenter in quartz, which can be used to deduce indirectly the major ore-forming stage according to the variation in the EPR spectra of quartz with the formation temperature of quartz veins.Calculated result using the data of EPR spectra of quartz indicates that the intensities of O~--Al center show a positive correlation with the corresponding gold content of quartz veins with a correlation coefficient γ=0.61 (a=0.01). : Prognosis of ore resources is an indispensable link in scientific exploration. The success rate of ore prognosis depends on people's knowledge of ore resource regularity, the sufficiency of various sorts of information collected, and the reliability and practicability of criteria f or prognosis established on such a basis. In the application of geophysical and geochemical prospecting to the prognosis of ore resources, we should fully develop arid utilize direct and indirect ore-prospecting information in the data, and employ such methods as mapping-target model analogy, target indicating information statistics and target anomaly inference in practice. In order to push ahead with the prognosis of ore resources, we should utilize the available regional geophysical and geochemical data to the fullest extent and make interpretation on a combined and integrated basis. The systematic performance of large-scale geophysical and geochemical prospecting work, the establishment of geological-geophysical-geochemical models and prognostic criteria, the timely verification of prognostic results and the making of inference, the expansion and renewal of our knowledge and the training of qualified researchers seem to be the mast pressing tasks at present.

矿产预测是科学勘查工作不可少的环节。矿产预测的成功率取决于人们对矿产规律性的认识、所收集到的各种信息是否足够和以此建立的预测准则是否可靠和实用。物探、化探在矿产预测时要充分开发、利用资料中直接和间接找矿两类信息,具体可采用填图—目标物模型类比法、目标物标志信息统计法和目的物异常推断法。为推进矿产预测要充分利用已有的区域物探、化探资料,进行联片解释;系统开展大比例尺物探、化探工作;建立地质—地球物理—地球化学模型和预测准则;及时验证预测及推断;扩大和更新知识、培养综合人才是当务之急。
