It was discussed that the basic position was displayed in the aspects of comprehensive coal & carbon utilization, environment protection and food safety etc. by the process line used in production of methanol by pure oxygen gasification with coal and in combining production of synthetic ammonia from releasing gas of methanol; the gasification principle of shell pulverized coal gasification process, gasification efficience, coal kind flexibility and environment protection benefit were analyzed; using pulverized coal pure oxygen gasification and producing hydrogen by water electrolysis were introduced, to reach an unit combination of large-sized plant of methanol produced by coal with a zero discharge of CO_2; relevant suggestions were presented for optimization of petro-chemical & industrial materials and material structure revision in China.
