The relation between the Stability of β-C_2S and. the burning temperature has been inveatigated by means of X-ray,polorized microscope and TDA.The experimental results show that β-C_2 is a metastable modification, which tends to invert into γ-C_2S during cooling. From the samples burned in different temperatures varying from 950℃ to 1400℃, the relative content of γ-C_2S increases with lowering temperature. Dusting occurs even from samples burned at temperature of 1200℃ for 6 hours, but there is no dusting occured...

Dusting occurs even from samples burned at temperature of 1200℃ for 6 hours, but there is no dusting occured when the samples are burned twice at the same temperature with tempering only 5 hours in total,yet,the final product is always the mixture of β-C_2S and γ-C_2S.The afore-mentioned results apparently are different from the views of Yannaquis, who confirmed that: "β-C_2S obtained from burning temperatures between 950℃ and 1200℃ was stable at any temperature even under slow cooling."Depending on the characteristics of metastable β-C_2S, we use K_2O, Na_2O, MgO, Fe_2O_3,copper-slag and fluorspar as stabilizers to prevent the dusting from portland cement clinker.The experimental data thus obtained are believed of value to the practical control of raw mix at cement factories.

本文采用了X—射线分析、差热分析和显微镜观察,研究了β—C_2S的稳定性与烧成温度的关系。试验结果指出:β—C_2S是介稳的晶型,在冷却过程中要转换为γ—C_2S。从950℃~1400℃之间不同烧成温度的试样得知,烧成温度愈低,γ—C_2S的相对含量愈高。如果在1200℃经过两次煅烧,并经两次保温共达5小时,就能防止粉化现象。然而最终的产物为β-和γ—C_2S的混合物。据本试验结果,对Yannaquis所提出的“在950°~1200℃烧成的β—C_2S,在任何温度下都是稳定的晶型,甚至慢冷也是稳定的。”这一观点提出不同看法。 根据β—C_2S介稳定性的特征,试验了K_2O、Na_2O、MgO、Fe_2O_3、铜矿渣及螢石对防止普通水泥熟料粉化的作用,这对在生产实际中控制配科参数有一定的参考价值。

In this paper, the possibility for controlling the quality of portland cement by defining the maximum periclase content of clinker and the main factors affecting on permissible periclase content are discussed. The testing results show that the maximum permissible periclase content depends upon the grain size of perielase crystals, the specific surface area of cement and the free lime content of clinker.The relation between permissible periclase content and grain size of periclase crystals is a function of hyperbolic form under conditions that the free lime content is kept within a certain limit and the specific surface area of cement is fixed。

Results show that ettringite, the essential prod-uct of hydration, is formed gradually in cement paste Its amount, shapes, rate of forma-tion and place of formation in the cement paste depend on the lime content of the cement which explains why supersulfated cements with different lime contents show different cha-racteristics in the development of strength and expansion.In view of the fact that the rate of formation of ettringite at later ages becomes slow, the problem of volume consistency of the supersulfated cements with excessive lime con-tent and subject to long time curing in water has been discussed The authors conclude that in actual practice, a reasonable excessive addition of portland cement clinker to the mix is permissible in view to improve certain properties of the cement. Hardened supersulfated cement may be used in contact with portland cement even in moist circumstances, but the two types cement must not be used together in the mix.

本文采用了X-射线分析、差热分析、电子显微镜、偏光显微镜和化学分析等方法研究了不同碱度的石膏矿渣水泥水化时水化硫铝酸钙的形成过程。结果表明石膏矿渣水泥的主要水化产物高硫铝酸钙是在水泥石中逐步形成的;其形成的数量、速度、形态以及在水泥石中生长的位置与水泥的碱度有密切关系,因此不同碱度的石膏矿渣水泥表现了不同的强度。根据硫铝酸钙在硬化体中形成速度随期龄增加而变慢的趋势,对碱度过高的石膏矿渣水泥长期在水中养护的体积安定性进行了探讨。认为在生产上可允许稍提高熟料掺入量以改善水泥的某些性能;并且即使在潮湿环境下,亦可与硅酸盐水泥接触使用,但混合使用一般仍应禁止。
