Changes of color characteristics of wood during clear painting with polyurethane (PU) varnish for 8 hardwood species were studied. The results show that changes of color indexes differe with tree species and painted times with PU varnish; Comparsion of color characteristics between unpainted wood and trhe third painted film with PU varnish demonstrates that lighness decreases, and color chroma, blueness or yellowness chromaticity go up,color difference changes remarkably.

对8种阔叶树材采用聚氨酯清漆进行透明涂饰处理,定量检测和分析三次涂饰过程中木材色度学特征的变化。结果表明:各色度学指标随涂饰次数和树种不同而异,涂饰前后色度学特征变化为明度均降低,色饱和度、黄蓝轴色品指数均增加,色差变化明显。

Chitosan is a natural and renewable polymer extracted mainly from crabs and shrimps without toxic and pollution to human beings and environment and can be used to the wood surface modification such as wood dyeing and clear painting.But the information of changes of color characteristics of wood painted with chitosan is absent.In this paper the color characteristics of unpainted and painted wood with aqueous solution of chitosan at 0 5,1 0,1 5,2 0,2 5 and 3 0% concentration for sapwood of Chinese Fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata ) and Chinese White Poplar (Populus tomentosa) ,heartwood of Chinese Fir were measured and analyzed.The results showed that all the color difference went up as the concentration of an aqueous solution of chitosan painted wood increased while the other parameters vary little between unpainted and painted wood.2% of an aqueous solution of chitosan is the best concentration for wood dyeing or clear painting with no influence to further surface treatment.

壳聚糖是一种无毒无害且可再生的天然高分子材料,可用于木材表面改性处理。本文通过对杉木边材、心材和毛白杨边材表面涂饰不同浓度的壳聚糖乙酸溶液,测定分析处理前后的木材材色变化。结果表明:不同浓度壳聚糖处理木材表面,处理前后总体色差随浓度的升高而增加,其它色度学参数略有变化;壳聚糖处理木材表面的最佳浓度是2.0% ,处理后对木材表面的进一步着色或涂饰无大影响。
