Reliable data transmission in multicast is discussed too. The second part of the paper gives an example of using IP multicast\|IP TV. The architecture of IP TV is outlined, four kinds of workstations in IP TV are shown, and then its quality of service is discussed.

    Multicast communication is becoming the basis for a growing number of applications. It is therefore critical to provide founded security mechanism for multicast communication. In this paper, the core problem of large scale secure multicast communication is analyzed and a novel solution to the scalability problem of multicast key management is presented.
