Two typical plate dies were calculated for the comparison to those of three dimensional finite element method. Results show that the method is accurate to analyze the flow of polymer in plate extruding die.
This paper calculated the effective SIF (Kteff) of the crack initiated in the root of double side groove, and Kteff is used in 1Cr18Ni9Ti stainless steel plate creep crack growth analysis, within the range of temperature T (570-650℃) and stress σ(15. 3-16.9 kg /mm2) investigated the experimental data show that the steady creep crack growth is a thermo-activation process, then a comprehensive parameter S = S(T, σ, Kieff) effectively control the steady creep crack growth rate da/dt.
